Shops wey be say Naija people get for five markets wey dey inside Kumasi, Ghana, don close down and na work of Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA), dis wan dey happen two weeks after the regional secretary of the union, David Amoateng bin yarn give Ghana people say make dem no buy Naija goods as per say Naija president, President Muhammadu Buhari bin close Naija border.

Tori dey allege say dem forcefully pursue dem comot for their business, before dey close thier shops wey dey Kejetia, Suame Magazine, Adum and Asafo markets, wey dey Kumasi, d Ashanti Region capital. This na d second time wey such action go happen dis year.

GUTA Public Relations Officer, Albert Offei, yarn say dem go close more shops across d country as the action go soon extend to other parts of Ghana.

According to the association, d Nigerian traders and shop owners bin flout d ghana constitution as dem dey operate like taxis, beauty salons, selling medicine, production and sale of sachet water, among other petty trades.

As d Ghanaian traders’ union dey defend their action with d constitution, me rumour dey say d shutdown of the shops dey provoked by the border closure because d association bin specifically target shops wey be Say na Naija people get.
