We Don Finally Agree On New Minimum Wage -Keyamo

The Federal government and the organised labour don finally agree on the percentage wey the salary of workers go take increase using the new minimum wage.

As the meeting reach advance stage, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, put am for im twitter from the venue of the meeting say both parties don agree, but he no give details.

The secretary of the JNCSNC, Alade Lawal, also don confirm the matter. He say both parties agree on 23.2 percentage increase for workers wey dey grade level 07; 20 per cent for those ones wey dey grade level 08; 19 per cent for workers wey dey grade level 09; 16 per cent for those ones wey dey levels 10 to 14; and 14 per cent for workers wey don reach grade levels 15 to 17.

The agreement no happen in a easy way at all, because na 182 days after President Muhammadu Buhari pass am for bill dey just dey agree about the minimum wage.
